Ingredients

  • 2 pounds chicken wings
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • ¼ cup hot sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey

Equipment

  • Large mixing bowl
  • Baking sheet
  • Wire rack
  • Saucepan
  • Tongs
  • Measuring spoons

Method

Step 1: Prepare the Wings
  1. I start by patting the wings dry with paper towels. This helps them get crispy. Then I toss them with olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and cayenne.

Step 2: Bake the Wings
  1. I place the wings on a wire rack over a baking sheet. I bake them at 425°F for about 30 minutes. I flip them halfway so they cook evenly.

Notes

  • I like serving these wings hot with ranch or blue cheese dressing on the side.
  • They pair perfectly with celery sticks, fries, or a fresh salad.
