Method
 

Step 1: Prepare the Coffee
  1. Pour the cooled espresso into a shallow dish and set it aside for dipping the ladyfingers.
Step 2: Make the Cream Filling
  1. In a large bowl, beat the heavy cream until soft peaks form. In another bowl, mix the mascarpone cheese, powdered sugar, almond extract, and vanilla extract until smooth. Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture.
Step 3: Layer the Ladyfingers
  1. Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the cooled espresso and arrange a single layer in the bottom of the baking dish.
Step 4: Assemble the Tiramisu
  1. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers and sprinkle with half of the toasted sliced almonds. Repeat the layers with the remaining ladyfingers, cream mixture, and almonds.
